Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English model, actress, and television personality that gained notoriety during the 1990s after she became Hugh Grant's girlfriend. As of 1994, Hugh Grant gained the world's media due to the global box office success of his movie Four Weddings and a Funeral Hurley joined him for the film's Los Angeles premiere in a plunged black Versace dress held together with gold safety pins which gained the media's attention immediately. Hurley has enjoyed a thriving career, but her relationship to Estee Lauder cosmetics is the most notable. It offered Hurley her modeling gig at age 29. They have used Hurley as a model in its products especially perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures from 1995. Vanessa Kensington is her best famous role, which she played in the Mike Myers spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me Both of which were huge hits. Hurley is now a model and the designer of the eponymous Beachwear line. Critics argued that it encouraged sexual relationships between gay and straight men, and others felt that the story which was depicted on the album appealed more to male fantasies. Nevertheless the combination of polished and titillating melody contributed to the fact that I Kissed a Girl become an instant hit in a variety of countries and drove the sales of her album One of the Boys (2008). The album's song, the second Hot N Cold also proving popular the album much of the songs Perry created herself ultimately registered sales of more than three million copies in the United States.
